Hello Crafters!
I saw this very interesting moodboard at Artful Crafting, so thought about taking the challenge. The mood board talked about Rusty outdoor theme which made me think of this park that i used to visit with my parents when i was a little kid.

This challenge was so much fun to me as it made me go out of the box and make this 3D card with a rusty functional swing on the front that i have never seen anybody else making before. So happy with how it turned out.
There is so much texture and multi media techniques used on this card. I used vaseline technique to give it a scratched paint  rustic look. so much work u know!

The front holds the 3D swing and there is this card on the back side with gold foil accenton it, which is also supporting the front to stand straight.

Here is the close up of the swing. The little bricks are made out of plain brown clay (it was so much fun creating them). Used crackle medium on the swing and dry brush technique on the chain. And oh i hope you can see the stone look that i tried to give to the floor underneath. Used acrylic, water colors and texture paste though out the card.

Just wanted to add a little accent of tree branches and flowers on the background. I thought adding full fledge 3D flowers or tress on the background would make it too busy for the foreground to stand out.

Here is the closeup of the Main sentiment which says ” Happy Memories good old days” as i have a lot of good memories associated with the sing park that i used to visit… and i shall be giving this card to my elder bro who lives abroad to remind him of this place. Used 8 layers to make the sentiment pop up.
As you guys know i send all my cards in co-ordinating boxes instead of envelopes, so shall be making a vertical box so i can deliver it to by brother safely.
I hope u liked my card.. it was really time consuming but i had a great time creating it!
Will see you guys soon with some other fun creation.
Happy Crafting!
Would like to give this card for the following challenges:
